About this home

Completed in early 2020, this 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home is ideally situated within walking distance to all of Livingston’s best spots, including the Yellowstone River, Sacajawea Park, and historic downtown. The bright, airy space is tastefully decorated with a mix of new furniture and primitive antiques the owners have collected during their travels. The open-concept downstairs includes a spacious kitchen fully stocked with dishes and cutlery, a gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker. The cozy living room includes comfy furniture and a working gas fireplace. The TV has a Roku you can use to log in to your accounts on streaming services like Netflix and Hulu (WiFi is included). The downstairs also offers a half-bathroom and a mudroom with a washer and dryer. There's also an attached one-car garage and a driveway offering additional off-street parking for one car. Upstairs you’ll find three light-filled bedrooms. The master bedroom offers a king-sized bed, a walk-in closet, a television, and big windows with views over the Absaroka Mountains (unfortunately the view is slightly obscured by the building across the street). The attached master bath has a double-sink vanity and a huge walk-in shower with dual showerheads. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, while the third offers two twin beds. A second full bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo is located off the hallway. Though this home is on a relatively small lot, a small patio outside provides the perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening nightcap. With the river across the street and the park just a short walk away, you won’t be lacking for outdoor options!

Lovely is how we describe our experience! The online description provided by the Host, Amy, is accurate and was our introduction to a month of rest, relaxation and fulfillment. The modern era farmhouse is well laid out and stocked with high-quality beautiful amenities. The open air concept brings the family together centered around a most beautifully designed kitchen bathed in natural morning sunlight. Walking distance to Sacajawea Park, Yellowstone River, various delicious restaurants as well as the Town and Country locally owned grocery store allowed us to leave the car parked while exploring the neighborhood. The host family is caring and attentive when called upon and built a wonderful rapport with friendly neighbors. We felt welcome and our privacy was always respected. Things to know about Livingston as a destination and how this property excels. The house is exceptionally well constructed standing mighty in Livingston's famous strong winds. The house is situated upwind from the train tracks that pass through Livingston which helps mute the occasional train horn. The gentle whoosh of traffic from the nearby I-90 is well damped with the modern construction and tight sealing windows. We feel privileged for the time we were able to spend in the modern era farmhouse.
